ROGERS TV TO BROADCAST 2009 CIS EAST WEST BOWL; WEBCAST ALSO AVAILABLE
Rogers TV, Cable 13, will produce the game to be carried live in the London area and also by Rogers TV, Cable 22, in Ottawa, Ont.
The game will also air on tape delay on Sunday, May 10 in the Kitchener-Waterloo market via Rogers TV, Cable 20.
The 2009 East West Bowl features the top football players in Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS), with most of the players eligible for the 2010 Canadian Football League draft.
Kickoff is at 1 p.m.

Joining Rogers TV's broadcast team to provide colour commentary will be former Western Mustangs head coach Larry Haylor, the winningest coach in CIS football history and current coach with Team Canada for the 2012 World Football Championships.
Russ Courtney of Rogers TV Mustangs Sports will provide the play by play, with Judith Grieve is the host.

Former CIS players who have gone on to be drafted by the CFL and NFL, including the recently drafted Mustangs lineman Vaughn Martin, earn great recognition and exposure in this game."

Western Mustangs coach Greg Marshall will be the head coach of the West team comprised of players from OUA teams west of the GTA including Western, Guelph, McMaster, Windsor, Wilfrid Laurier, and Waterloo and Canada West. Four Western Mustangs players will play: quarterback Michael Faulds, receiver Jesse Bellamy, linebackers John Surla and Conor Elliott and defensive back Craig Butler.
Glen Constantin, the head coach of the 2008 Vanier Cup champions Laval Rouge et Or will coach the East team where players hail from OUA schools from Quebec and Atlantic conferences, the GTA and east including Ottawa, Queen's, Toronto and York.
The East-West Bowl, organized with the help of the Canadian University Football Coaches Association (CUFCA) and in partnership with the CFL, brings together over 90 of the top CIS football players for a week of practices and evaluation, culminating with the annual all-star game.
