WATERLOO STAYS FIRST IN WEST
The Waterloo Warriors held onto their first place standing in the West division on Wednesday night by defeating the Windsor Lancers 65-50. Graham Jarman scored 13 points and had 7 rebounds for the Warrriors. Andrew Coatsworth was the only other Warrior to break into double digits, with 11 points and 7 rebounds. Rich Allen put up the best stats of the night with 15 points and 9 rebounds en route to Windsor's loss.
McMaster 73, Laurier 71
McMaster's Adam Guiney scored 19 points in the Maurader's 73-71 win over the Laurier Golden Hawks. Adam Steiner and Mohawk College transfer, Martin Ajayi, also put up impressive numbers for the Marauders - each had 17 points and 4 rebounds on the night. Tood Cooney and Andrew Mackay both had 15 points for Laurier in the home court loss.
Brock 80, Western 57
Kevin Steinstra led Brock with 17 points to down Western 80-57 on Wednesday night. The fourth year player now sits at second on the OUA scoring board with 18.46 points per game. Western's Alan Paron hit 9 of 10 free throws, scoring the team high nine points for the Mustangs. Western now drops to 4-9 on the season, while Brock moves up to 10-3, putting them at second place in the West.
