OUA FOOTBALL AWARDS PRESS CONFERENCE TO BE WEBCAST LIVE
Major award winners of Ontario University Athletics (OUA) 2007 football season will be honored Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 11:30 am at a press conference to kick off the 100th Yates Cup Football championship, presented by Pioneer Petroleums, featuring the No. 5 seeded Guelph Gryphons and No. 6 seeded Western Mustangs.
There will be a live webcast of the press conference which will recognize the winners of the following awards: OUA Football Most Valuable Player, J.P. Metras Trophy (Lineman of the Year), Norm Marshall Trophy (Rookie of the Year), Presidents Trophy (Outstanding Defensive Player of the Year), Coach of the Year, and the OUA Russ Jackson Nominee (Best exemplifies the attributes of academic achievements, football skill and citizenship).
Hosted by The Score's Tim Micallef, the event will also feature Guelph Gryphons Head Coach Kyle Watters and Western Mustang Head Coach Greg Marshall.
