RAVENS FOUR-PEAT REAIRS ON ROGERS SATURDAY
OTTAWA - Rogers Television (Cable-22) will be re-broadcasting the 2006 CIS \"Final 10\" Championship Game from Halifax, Nova Scotia on Saturday, April 22, at 8:30 pm. The Carleton University Ravens (OUA East) defeated the University of Victoria Vikes (CWUAA) 73-67,to capture their fourth straight CIS men's basketball crown on March 19, 2006.
In addition, to the Ravens/Vikes game being replayed, Rogers Television is giving basketball fans and young aspiring coaches, the opportunity to get inside the mind of one of Canada's best young basketball coaches, as two-time CIS Coach of the Year Dave Smart will be in studio with Rogers Matt McCooeye and four-time CIS \"Final 10\" Championship Game MVP Osvaldo Jeanty. Hear what the two Carleton Ravens have to say about the game, during different points in the game, as Carleton battled Victoria to the final whistle before claiming their fourth title.
Rogers will start the night's basketball coverage with their special on the Ravens \"Smart Basketball, to air at 8 pm on Saturday, followed by the 2006 CIS Championship Game.
