TORONTO LEAD EAST DIVISON WHILE BROCK AND WESTERN LEAD WEST
Toronto 7, Nipissing 4
If you love offence, this game had more than its share of scoring with 11 goals throughout 90 minutes. To put into comparison the amount of offence produced in this game, the remaining nine contests in the OUA this past week only manufactured 18 goals (2.0 per game). Fourth-year midfielder Mike Bialy (Scarborough) scored the hat trick and rookie forward Alexander Raphael (Thornhill, Ontario) netted two goals as Toronto outscored Nipissing 7-4 in a slugfest. Third-year Lakers forward Alagie Gaye from Gambia scored a pair of goals to bring his total to five on the season.
The Varsity Blues also earned a 2-2 draw against Trent and a 1-1 tie against Laurentian to collect five points in the OUA standings.
The Mustangs and Badgers share a six-point lead on their opponents in the West Division thanks to scoreless draws this past week. Western Ontario drew 0-0 against Waterloo while Brock and McMaster worked to a 0-0 tie.
