OTTAWA, ON — Carleton University’s Department of Recreation and Athletics is pleased to announce the schedule for the annual Can-Am Shootout, pitting the Ravens men’s and women’s basketball teams against NCAA competition from south of the border.

The Ravens basketball teams will host a combination of eight exhibition games this August, continuing Carleton’s lengthy tradition of welcoming NCAA institutions for the Canadian-American collegiate series.

On Sunday, August 7, the Ravens men’s team will continue its exhibition schedule with a marquee match-up against Wichita State, a 2013 Final Four participant out of the Missouri Valley Conference.

Next, Carleton will play the University of Arkansas – Pine Bluff from the Southwestern Athletic Conference on Friday, August 12.

The twelve-time national champions will then head to Montreal to take on Fairleigh Dickinson of the Northeast Conference at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf on Sunday, August 21. Tickets for the Fairleigh Dickinson game will be available for purchase at the door.
