What you need to know: 

  • Top 8 teams make the playoffs
  • Teams are seeded based on record
  • Any ties will follow the OUA Volleyball Tie Breaking Procedure
  • All matchups are single game elimination, in the best of 5 sets
  • Higher seed hosts the lower seed
  • In the event of an upset - the bracket is NOT reseeded

All OUA playoff games, including the Forsyth Cup, are available to watch live on OUA.tv.

Tickets for all OUA playoff games and the Forsyth Cup are sold by the host institution. Please visit the host school’s website for ticket information.

The Forsyth Cup:                                                                                                     

The OUA Men’s Volleyball Championship was first awarded during the 1968 season. The trophy was donated in honour of Jim Forsyth, a University of Toronto alumnus associated with the men’s volleyball program, after he passed away in February of 1968.       

U SPORTS Berths:

The OUA will receive either 3 or 4 berths depending on the finish of the Windsor Lancers as the 2026 U SPORTS Championship host.
